Supercharges have weird Voltage and Amperage

B4sti4n 6 years ago updated by James 6 years ago 6

All my Supercharges have a min/max/avg Voltage of 2 and an Amperage of more than 30000 on average. I assume this can't be correct.

This also makes the charts somewhat useless, as the battery-level, km/h and kW are all squashed into a line at the bottom.

It is a european (german) Model 3.

Auto-enable Sentry mode based on geofence settings

yesthatallen 6 years ago updated by SalisburySam 6 years ago 1

I'd love to be able to auto-enable Sentry mode every time I park at home. Or, maybe at my office.. or maybe all the time!

But, for certain, if I had Sentry mode auto-enabled, then whoever hit my car overnight a few days ago, while it was parked, would be on video.

Search Drives for Multiple Tags

Bokonon 6 years ago updated by James 2 years ago 2

Occasionally, I want to perform a Drive Search that spans multiple tags (e.g. Commute to Work and Commute Home), but at the moment, Drive Search only lets you select a single tag with a dropdown list. Would it be possible to turn this dropdown list into a multi-select, so that we can search drives for multiple tags at the same time?

Schedules & Reminders Problems: Not Chronological, Hi Temp, Plug In Reminder, Don't defrost in the summer!

K5TRX 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 1

Schedules & Reminders appear to be in a random order. Schedules & Reminders should Be Sorted Chronologically so that you can see in order:

1:00 AM Set Charge 70%

1:02 AM Start Charging
6:00 AM Set Charge 80%
6:02 AM Start Charging
7:15 AM HVAC temp HI (85 degrees, Model 3 can't go over 85 degrees, not 100 degrees as shown)
--> If inside temperature is below __. Don't do this in summer!
7:17 AM HVAC ON   --> If inside temperature is below __.
7:22 AM HVAC OFF  --> If HVAC is ON.

7:23 AM HVAC temp 70 (ready for temp I will use as needed on ride to work)

9:00 PM Plug in Reminder Charger is currently blank. Only do if Charger  = Disconnected.

Pseudo camper mode for model 3 via controls, or better controls controls :)

xucchini 7 years ago 0

Hello,

I am going camping soon.  Model 3 doesn't have a camper mode where the HVAC is active long term. I think I can emulate the feature with the telafi controls by creating dozens of controls to start HVAC every 30 minutes. It would be nice if there was an option to set up a control to repeat every so many minutes starting at a certain time until another time.

Alternatively just have a camper mode with a simplified interface that just does this for you for set times/dates.

What does "trying to sleep" really mean?

remlemasi 7 years ago updated by James 6 years ago 1

When I get a text saying "Tesla is trying to sleep," what is actually happening?

  1. Is TeslaFi simply stopping the data polling due to the 30 minute (default) idle timeout?
  2. Is my vehicle actually trying to going to sleep on its own and TeslaFi is just reporting it?

Followup question: If I get a "failure to sleep" message, will TeslaFi wait another 30 minutes (default) of idle time, then begin the same process once again, i.e. stop the data polling, allowing the Tesla to try to sleep? Does this continue indefinitely until the the Tesla has actually gone to sleep?

Hi,

The following article should help explain it:  Enabling sleep settings to limit vampire loss.

Yes, TeslaFi stops polling in order to give the car time to sleep.  TeslaFi cannot put the car to sleep, only pause polling to let it go to sleep on it's own if it's ready.

If it does not go to sleep it will start counting the idle timer again and repeat the process.  You can see this here:  https://teslafi.com/data.php.

Simplified Auto Tagging for Business Drives

folken 7 years ago updated by peescel 6 years ago 2

Like many I use TeslaFi to help fill out mileage claims.  It would simplify initial setup if editing a tagged location included a selection such as "this is a work location" and the auto tag drives page could select "work location" in the start and end.  All of my driving for work happens between 12 locations.  This would save me from entering a whole lot of auto tag rules to cover every combination of start and end.

    Charge: add a tag

mvuilleumier 7 years ago updated by tuna 7 years ago 3

    Dear Support,

TeslaFi is very usefull and as a former user of TeslaLog, I appreciated the functionnalities you already

    already implemented.

Nevertheless, I would like to suggest to add one more: like for the Drive, having the possibility to tag a charge. In that case, adding also a possibility to filter (additionnaly to the date range) according this tag. This could be helpfull to have a monthly summary for a location for example.

    Thanks and kind regards.
