Logger 10.22.18.1:

  • Sending commands no longer wakes up the vehicle.  Changed logger to send wake_up command prior to sending commands if the vehicle is asleep.

    Logger 10.23.18.1:

    • Added second location check to schedules in case first check fails to obtain lat/long data.

    Feature Request:

    Corrections:

    • If no vehicles were found on a Tesla account logging could not be disabled.

    Corrections:

    • TeslaFi API calls with certain special characters were not working.  Added encode=1 option to handle these calls correctly.

    Improvements:

    • Moved 'Your Software Updates' from the firmware tracker to its own page found in Fleet->Your Software Updates.  Added version count, average number of days between updates and days since last update for each version.

    • Added option to convert referral credits to amazon.com gift cards.  The option to request a gift card will appear when referral credits are at $50 or greater and can be requested in $50 increments.

    Feature Request:

    Corrections:

    • Rebooted all servers and added data logging server 5.  The Tesla API has been timing out and responding slowly during peak times for the past 24 hours.
    • TeslaFi API wake_up command was not working with newer firmware versions.

    Improvements:

    • Software update notifications will automatically be posted on twitter @teslafi.

    Logger 11.5.18.2

    • Resolved API delay issue causing missed data points which in turn caused used kWh calculations to present higher.

    Corrections:

    • Removed freegeoip.net from public firmware page due to too many calls for timezones.  Will look into options later with ipstack.com.  Currently all times are presented in CST.

    Logger 11.7.18.1:

    • Added a try to sleep requirement when the Tesla API stops reporting a shift_state reading.  This can be enabled in the sleep settings page and appears to work well with the Model 3 and possibly MCU 2 S/X vehicles.

    • Sleep sessions over 24 hours were not displaying starting range, range loss and time on detail view and second day split portion on daily view.

    Logger 11.13.18.1:

    • Start charging schedules sent while the car is already charging will no longer attempt to run again.
    • Added error message to schedule logging if the vehicle is unable to be woken up.
    • Added online state to schedule logging when a schedule condition is not met.

    Improvements:

    • Added CPU load display for each server in settings->account->advanced.

    Bug Fix:

    Corrections:

    • Miles and kilometers in drive search/download csv were not rounded.

    Corrections:

    • Referral credits were not being applied if referred user subscribed after the account was cancelled due to no payment  information being present after the trial ended.

    Improvements:

    • A message is now displayed for new users while waiting for data to start populating.
    • Added message for new users that will display a note when the vehicle is offline or asleep and data will start to be collected when the vehicle is online.
    • A message will be displayed for new users that a sleep mode is not enabled and will be displayed until one is enabled or for the first 24 hours.

    Logger 11.15.18.1:

    • Added last known location to schedules logging.
    • Schedules logging will display 'No Tagged Location Found' under matched location if a tagged location is not found.

    Improvements:

    • Added breakout of daily idle summary to include range/kWh loss for idles and idles that contain hvac conditioning.
    • Added cell in idle records to display range/kWh loss per idle.
    • Conditioning idle loss can be turned off in settings->account->preferences.
    • Conditioning icon displayed in idle record will now show red for heating, blue for cooling, and grey for fan only.

    Corrections:

    • Corrected issue when Google timezone API fails the corresponding record would fail to display.

    • Changed 'Charge %' in website header to reflect if a charger is connected.

    Data Logger 11.23.18.1:

    • SMS Email 2 backup after 250 messages was not working.

    Improvements:

    • Added tooltips for drive record buttons.

    • Added 'Show Similar Drive' button next to drive records on daily view which will direct to the drive search page showing drives matching the starting location and ending location in both directions.
    Corrections:
    • Corrected display of certain short idle sessions that follow a sleep session but contain no good data points.
    Improvements:
    • Added the ability to edit the ending percentage of a charge due to a possible new bug in the Tesla API which does not report the final completed charge percentage correctly.   This can be found by selecting the edit icon next to the charging session from the main index page.
    Corrections:
    • Idle and sleep sessions tables were not sized correctly when a charge or drive session was also not displayed on the index page.
    • Removed tooltips from drive session buttons as they were causing display issues on mobile devices.

    Improvements:

    • Idle sessions that may have included a missed drive due to a sleep attempt will be indicated with a note below the idle session.  The range loss and kWh loss for the idle will also not be included in the daily idle summary.
    • Accounts requested to not be deleted after one year past subscription ending will be indicated within the account page.

    Bug Fix:

      Improvements:

      • Battery degradation report will now use the charge_limit_soc field instead of the chargePercent field if the charge percentage is 1% below the set charge limit when a charge completes.  Additional information has temporarily been added to the 'Included Data Points' table.

      Data Logger 11.30.18.1:

      • Added better error handling for a new timeout occurring during schedules.

        Logger 12.3.18.1:

        • Reminder schedules will only run once if the reminder is false.

        Improvements:

        • Integrated battery level fix from 11/30/18 into charge calculations directly to display throughout site.  All charge records have been reset.

        Corrections:

        • Drive Summary Email 2 could not be selected in the notifications page.

        Corrections:

        • Drive and charge records were not updated when the home kWh price was changed in settings.
        • Vehicle names were not being displayed on charge completion emails.

        Corrections:

        • Chademo charges of 60 minutes were not displaying total time correctly in the charging summary page.
        • Daily idle summary calculations of idling/conditioning range loss were incorrect when displayed in kilometers.

        Data Logger 1.25.19.1:

          • Offline alerts will also be sent for 'unknown' API state.
          • Added data logging server 6.

          Alexa:

          • When a control is sent and the vehicle is asleep a wakeup command will be sent following by a 30 second delay before the command is sent.

          Corrections:

          • Email to SMS provider link was broken in schedules page.

          Improvements:

          • If an automatic token refresh fails the error will be included in the email alert sent to the user.

            Corrections:

            • If the Tesla API was not reporting an outside temperature multiple average calculations were reporting zero on drives
            • Drives with no outside temperature being reported will not be included in the temperature efficiency report.
            • If outside or inside temperature is not reported by the API the drive detail graph was displaying the data point at 32F.

            • Date points with an Inside or Outside temperature of 0 degrees Celsius were recording as "None".

            • A sentry mode icon will be displayed in the header when sentry mode is active.
            • TeslaFI API command added to enable and disable sentry mode.
            • Website controls added to enable and disable sentry mode.
            • Idle sessions with sentry mode active will display a sentry mode park icon.
            • Sentry mode status added to raw data fields.
            • Added sentry mode enable/disable to schedules.
            • Added sentry mode automatic activation upon location arrival at selected tagged locations.
            • Added default sentry mode activation time in settings->preferences->sentry mode.
            • Added sentry mode activation emails option in settings->preferences->sentry mode.
            • Added ability to enable sentry mode automatically when arriving at any untagged location in settings->preferences->sentry mode.
            • Sleep mode attempts will not occur when sentry mode is enabled.

            Corrections:

            • Street names with special characters were not creating charge records.
            • Schedule location checks were sometimes using the previous lat/lon before the drive ended.

            Improvements:

            • Added support for Model 3 Standard Range Plus

            Improvements:

            • Drive table elevation charts will now pull elevation data when loaded to fill in any missing data during the drive.
            • Updated public firmware page to show AP3 vehicles.

            Corrections:

            • The battery report was not including charges to 100% in some instances.
            • Green charging header was not displaying Power correctly for ACSingleWireCAN charges.
            • Software tracker was not showing AP3 count within version detail views.

            Corrections:

            • Charge and drive record update script was calculating during a drive or charge in some instances causing an incomplete record.

            Corrections:

            • Software versions were not sorting correctly in the software tracker in some instances.
            • Improved error handling of new accounts where the vehicle is offline or sleeping.

            Improvements:

            • Two TeslaFi.com accounts can now be linked in settings->account->vehicles->link TeslaFi account.  Sharing tagged locations is also available by linking one account to another and selecting 'use tagged locations' from this account'.  Once linked a new menu item will appear with a drop down to select which vehicle you would like to view.  https://support.teslafi.com/knowledge-bases/2/articles/10258-multiple-vehicles

            • Fleet statistics page was not working.
            • Range update calculations were not working for some users.

            • Supercharge sessions for Model 3's outside of the United States are not providing amperage and voltage information through the Tesla API.  Removed references in supercharging tables and graphs for this information when the data is not present.
            • Corrected error handling if a timezone is not returned on an idle or drive session.

            Improvements:

            • Added Performance Model 3 to model selection.

            Improvements:

            • Charge type of home, travel or supercharger can be edited by selecting the edit icon of a charge session.

            Improvements:

            • Calendar and lifetime map pages now include a dropdown menu to select between linked vehicle or display data from both vehicles.

            Corrections:

            • Range added calculation was incorrect in some instances for home charges.
            • Many calculations were not working when changing a supercharge session to travel session.

            Improvements:

            • Changing a supercharger session to a travel session will list the charge under the CHAdeMo / CSS Charges section in the charge summary page.

            Improvements:

            • client_id and client_secret can now be entered when entering a self generated Tesla API token to ensure they match during a token refresh.

            Corrections:

            • Charge summary page was grouping all charges with address's beginning in 'Tesla Supercharger' even if they had a different address.
