Please add the ability to manualy add a charge record.

TC56 6 years ago updated by James 2 years ago 20

In some underground car parks, connection with the car is lost and therefore record of a charge session is not transmitted.  It would be great to be able to add a chrge record to keep records current

Auto tagging locations

Sharkcookie 8 years ago updated by anonymouse 3 years ago 7

Would it be possible to have commonly known places alutomatically be geotagged and named. For example Superchargers, Service Centers, maybe even some iconic places like National Parks or Theme Parks. It seem like every user is adding the same places.

it would be nice to know how much energy was regenerated during a trip

jvds 6 years ago updated by Evee95827 1 year ago 2

I am just curious how much energy is regenerated during a trip by slowing down can that be shown?

heat map

Sharkcookie 8 years ago updated by CMc 4 years ago 6

Love the new map showing all drives. Would it be possible for you to create a 'heat map' showing all logs on your website together? Would be awesome to see where Teslas are driving most

Support in the UI for multiple cars

ReturnZero 6 years ago updated by blulegend 2 years ago 28

It would be nice if I could track both vehicles from a single account. I don't even mind paying for multiple cars, I just don't want to have to manage multiple accounts and sign in/out all the time.

Graph battery capacity (ending range) over time at given charge level

mkolowich 8 years ago updated by James 7 years ago 13 1 duplicate

One of the most important things for an EV owner to understand over time is how the battery range at, say, 90% charge declines over the lifetime of the battery.

I would like to see a graph for any given completed charge level (e.g. all 90% charges) that shows the ending range for each charge for that level. There should be a choice for x-axis of:

  • Odometer reading
  • Date
  • Charge number

Also, it may be useful to allow smoothing to make the chart more readable (I.e. average last 3 charges)

Add a fleet report (scatter plot + regression) for battery degredation

gorkish 6 years ago updated by steve_hay 2 months ago 8

The battery reports are great!

Please consider generating a fleet battery report similar to the MaxRange survey here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/t024bMoRiDPIDialGnuKPsg/htmlview#

It would be nice to see a global scatter plot and regression by mileage and cumulative charge power (kWh) along with being able to filter by model, battery capacity (lump S and X together), or cell type (S/X vs 3) though I know from looking at the statistics the data may get pretty thin on some of those slices though so you would have to see if it makes any sense.

Personally I am especially interested at understanding the impact of home vs supercharging. My degredation following the first year is relatively high compared to what is "normal" based on the MaxRange survey, and I would like to see if that data can be disambiguated.

Streamlined sign-in from car (e.g. 4-digit PIN)

mkolowich 8 years ago updated by a1bighead 3 months ago 20

This should probably wait until we see the browser revisions that are due in the next few weeks, but once the Tesla browser is revealed, it would be great to evolve to a simple PIN-based approach to signing in to TeslaFi from the car.

How this works will depend on: whether the new browser supports cookies; whether the new browser is detectable as a Tesla browser; and whether there is a way to detect that a specific vehicle is accessing TeslaFi.

But the closer we can get to "enter a 4-digit PIN" on sign-ins subsequent to the first from the car, the better

Is there a way to keep gas price history with the date, so as gas prices change the savings difference can be seen over time?

kwjayhawk 6 years ago updated by James 2 years ago 8

    My example would be

2/22/19 Gas at $2.21/gal so savings is $x.xx

but if I change it on 3/5/19 and gas is $2.48 the old data stays with the date/gas rate but the new data is updated with that gas savings rate.

    Thanks!

    Distance driven between charges

bikeandsail 8 years ago updated by charb0y 2 months ago 8

The longest drive listing would be much more useful for EVs if it was the longest distance driven between charges. My longest drives were limited by my bladder not the cars battery!
