Merge more than 2 charges (e.g. overnight 'Intelligent' charging slots from electricity supplier)

ZOD77 1 year ago 0

I'd like to be able to merge several (e.g. 4) overnight charges that are separated by non-charging periods. These are being scheduled by my electricity supplier as part of a smart tariff (Intelligent Octopus Go in the UK). I can't seem to merge more than two individual sessions, and can't merge an individual session with an already merged session.

This seems to be possible for 'drives', so I hope is easy to setup for charging ones.

More and more electricity suppliers now support these intermittent charging tariffs, so it would be good to see this supported.
Even better would be the option to merge all overnight charging automatically, and also across the evening and into the next morning.

It looks like Tesla just flipped the switch to move to the new official API.  You should see a new notice under the TeslaFi logo with instructions to switch to the new API.

We have also just sent an email to all users with the same instructions.

If you don't see the notice and things are not working you can also disable 'Legacy API' in settings->account->advanced and then navigate to settings->Tesla account and click on authenticate with Tesla to connect.

If you are experiencing any issue please open a support ticket in help->open a support ticket.

Auto tag on Location Naming page

kevinkeenan 1 year ago updated by James 1 year ago 0

Would it be possible to add an auto tag section to the Naming page? It would make the process for my business use a lot easier.  Right now, I have to go to the naming page, name the location, then go to the auto tag drives, scroll through the long list of client names, find the right one and then setup the auto tag.  It would be awesome to have an AutoTag tab on the Location Naming page. :)

PSA: TeslaFI Logs Saved Me $20K!!

clearwave1 2 years ago 0

I have been using TeslaFI for a few years now. In May of this year my big battery died on my 2015 MS 85D 3 days after the warranty expired.

Tesla initially gave me a bill for $20K to replace the battery. Not cool just 3 days out of warranty.

I had noticed that my range had dropped over the winter months but didn't do anything about it as I assumed that Tesla had changed the range calculation as they have done many times before.

I pulled up my TeslaFI charging logs and it showed a history of degradation over a few months. I sent this info to Tesla and after about a month, corporate approved a replacement battery under warranty.

GO TESLAFI !!!

Tie tire sets to drive number instead of date

bobusn2022MSP 2 years ago 0

I'd like to be able to tie the tire sets to start and end with a drive number instead of a date.

Love, love, love TeslaFi! Thanks for the consideration, and keep up the great work.

Automated monthly charging report to email for work home charging reimbursement

Tommy 2 years ago updated by cryogenconsulting 5 months ago 1

Hi,

We are soon moving to a process for EV business mileage reimbursement of using charging data at the rate of our home charging cost. It would be very helpful if the TeslaFi system would auto generate a monthly charging file and email it to me on the 1st of each month.

Ideally, with the user being able to create the rport using the fields they need for their companies requirements. For example i would only need these headers I think rather than all the headers the current manual report provides.

Solar version of TeslaFi to track solar panels/roof and Powerwalls

N1 2 years ago updated by vpgarba2 2 years ago 1

As a TeslaFi subscriber for about three years I appreciate the tracked data and the constant improvements to the program.

I've just installed Tesla solar panels and Powerwalls and it would be nice to rely on TeslaFi for the same type of data analysis as I've used for my Tesla vehicles. It's my understanding that there is a Tesla Energy API that would support this new branch of TeslaFi.

Please don't leave me to the pain of creating my own personal spreadsheet that would pale in comparison to TeslaFi.

If you haven't subscribed to TeslaFi feel free to use my Referral Code which is N1 to get a one month trial instead of two weeks.

Wayback machine also for home electricity costs

alechenne 2 years ago updated by James 2 years ago 0

Dear TeslaFi,

the last feature of the wayback machine for gas savings calculation is very useful. Any chance to do the same at least for the home electricity costs?

Thanks

Speed Efficiency graph at speeds above 65 mph?

Graphing speed efficiency above 65 mph would be instructive given the non-linear nature of aerodynamic drag.

Remote windows close for Legacy S/X models

Malah 3 years ago 0

I've noticed that an API is available to remotely close Windows on my 2017 Model X. But I don't see any button for that available in TeslaFi interface.

I also see this functionality in another 3rd party app like "Tessie" and tested this, the API call works and I'm able to close Windows remotely.

Would it possible to add a "Remote Windows close" button into TeslaFi?

Thanks!
