Enable Alexa skill for European Customers
Sadly I can't add the teslafi skill to my Alexa. I think this is because the skill is only available in English, but my Alexa is set up in German.
Can I provide you with a translation so you can add the German version of the Skill?
Best Regards,
Chris
Give an option for schedules to only run if parked.
Example: I pre-condition my car for 10 minutes every morning before I go to work - 1 scheduled task turns on climate and one turns it off 10 minutes later. Sometimes I leave the house earlier than planned and the "turn off" event executes while I'm driving. Would be nice to have the option to skip that event if the car is not in park.
Automatically Calculate Charge for Supercharging
Please add automatic calculations for the charges for supercharging since it the fees are posted and Teslafi already records the amount of kWh or how long (and charge rate) the session was. If a specific charge session didn't cost money, we can override it.
To know which cars have free supercharging, it could be an account setting (default to yes for S/X/P3 and no for 3/3D)
family icon
I´d love to have an icon for "family" so I can set an icon on all the locations of members of my family
Support Multiple Tags
This is a feature request to allow tagging drives with multiple tags. For example, I'd like to have the ability to tag a drive as "Work Commute" and "With Aero Wheels". At some point, I'd like to use that data to compare how my car does with and without the aero wheel covers on my Model 3.
Thanks you for this awesome tool! It's been great getting all this extra info out of my car.
Create Phantom Drive Records
More often than I'd prefer, TeslaFi seems to stop polling my car when I open the door or immediately prior to starting a drive. Since most of my drives are local (e.g. less than 15 minutes in length), this results in the Idle session showing a Range Loss equal to the distance I had driven.
I'd like to see if the site can create the concept of a "Phantom Drive" or something along those lines. I'd say the trigger would be based on the geo location or mileage of the car. If the geo location and/or the mileage for the car had changed without a drive record, rather than count it as Range Loss for an Idle record, the site should really be counting it as a drive with an Idle record prior and after.
Likewise, perhaps the same thing could happen any time the range goes up (like if you started a charging session when TeslaFi stops polling). If the geo location or mileage hasn't changed but the range has gone up, it's safe to assume that those additional miles of range were from the charging session. The site may already be doing this.
Can this be implemented?
Indicator of Tesla API errors
there have been a couple times since I've started using TeslaFi with my Model 3 that the Tesla API has experienced errors for most/all users, leading to app issues and trouble logging through TeslaFi. Is there a possibility to have an alert automatically show on TeslaFi when the issue is with Tesla and not just my own car? (perhaps automatically shown after x% of cars throw errors?)
Do you support multiple cars on one account?
if so how i can I tell which car is selected?
Each TeslaFi account can only log one vehicle at a time. In the settings page on TeslaFi you can select which vehicle you would like to log under the the Vehicles section. The option to select which vehicle to log will only appear if you have more than one vehicle on your Tesla.com account.
Calender-View: Start the week with "Monday"
Would be nice to have the week start with a Monday in calender view - which is more common for european users.
