Sleep with New Intel MCU

mknox 7 years ago updated by Robipad 6 years ago 21

My couple of week old Model X came with the new Intel based MCU. As such, it does not have the Energy Savings options like older cars have... just white space where they would have been. Tesla says energy savings are "automated" on these newer cars. How does TeslaFi Sleep work on these cars, or does it work at all?

ComEd Hourly Pricing - Calculate real charging costs by getting live data from Comed hourly pricing

Hotlk1 7 years ago updated by christian mo 3 years ago 1

Hello,
I am using ComEd hourly pricing, they make this prices public through their app or their web-page, it would be really useful to know what my real costs are for charging my car. It will help if there will be a possibility to modify or add to the cost other costs like (delivery fee, taxes, meter fee).

Max Speed Notification

gossmakd 7 years ago updated by hardyd0 4 years ago 2

I would like a notification any time the car's speed exceeds a configurable value.  I rent the car on Turo and have a written policy that if the renter exceeds 85 mph I will turn valet mode on.  It would be great to get that notification so I can handle the issue promptly.

Is there a way to track when Enhanced Auto Pilot...

dsmith2017 7 years ago updated by James 7 years ago 1

Is there a way to track when Enhanced Auto Pilot is activated / deactivated?  I would like to overlay this information on my map or better yet, share with other Tesla owners.  It could be an interesting activity to got out to areas that have not been driven and when a few (3-5) people go over the same area the information will be shared with the collective.

No, it's not available through the API.  I wish it was.

Firmware emails for Model 3 vs S/X

boaterva 7 years ago updated by James 7 years ago 2

Wonder if it's worth separating these somehow as 'higher version number' isn't relevant when it's a complete separate firmware fork for the 3, as it seems so far.  The S/X won't get the new 2017.50.10 that just came out, for example, and 2017.50.3 for the S/X will never be on a 3.

Not a huge deal, but a mess for those that track firmware versions.  I don't know what a good answer is, except the next S/X may not be 'higher' than this one and we sure want an email.  :)

Thanks.  That makes sense.  I plan on working on a notification page soon to centralize and add more notifications so I could probably add an option to select which models you want an alert for.  If the releases do go out of order it will open up another can of worms.  We'll just have to see how it goes.

Add Google maps links to drive view

Sparks2067 7 years ago 0

Hi, great service!

I was looking at the drive view and notice that selecting a datapoint is possible but it does not highlight this datapoint on the map. How about adding that feature, or, in the data tables adding an option to format the lat/long into a google maps search url?

Thanks again for a great service.

Allow Charge Limit changes whilst driving

mcwill 7 years ago 0

Currently, scheduled tasks don't permit a change to the Charge Limit whilst the car is driving.

If this is a TeslaFi restriction and not a Tesla api restriction can I request Charge Limit settings be permitted whilst driving please?

I have a regular trip that would benefit from a 100% charge just before leaving but I'd like to reset the limit to 90% after the journey has started to avoid accidently charging to 100% on the destination charger.

Scheduled charge incorrectly failed to match location

mcwill 7 years ago updated by rarekind 7 years ago 6

I set up a scheduled charge to warm up the battery prior to a long trip but the scheduled task failed to send to vehicle because TeslaFi thought the vehicle location didn't match the selected value of "Home".

However the car was sleeping at home as logged by the system.

The only contributing factor I can think of is the drive/entry to Home was missed as TeslaFi was attempting to let the car sleep.
