Feature Request - Include elevation for drives when exporting to csv

dantfionline 6 years ago 0

It'd be great to have starting and ending elevation included when exporting drives to csv.

Love TeslaFi, thanks for creating it!

Windows Down Alert

YYZMODEL3 6 years ago updated by Silicon Desert 4 years ago 5

I'm wondering if you receive data about windows down while the car is empty?

Had a situation where the passenger window was down when I came back to the car yesterday and thought it would be great if you could send an alert when windows are down.

Alexa command issues

Volta 6 years ago updated 6 years ago 5

I enabled the Alexa skill yesterday, so I can stop having to fumble with my phone in the morning to start the cabin heater while getting ready for work. The skill works fine for most queries, providing historic data, but anything trying to control the car, like "Alexa, ask my car to turn on the heater" results in "I'm having trouble accessing your electrifi.com skill".  This continued over 5-10 minutes, presumably because the car was asleep.  Once I opened the Tesla app in my phone and waited for it to wake up the car, those same commands started working as expected through Alexa.

Is it possible to adjust the skill so if a command fails it wakes up the car and retries, or at least wakes up the car and gives a message the car is waking up, try again later?

My car is a Model 3 LR Dual motor if it matters.

Thanks!

Aggregating supercharger occupancy data

ckoval7 6 years ago updated by zetzsche 6 years ago 1

I posted about this over on TMC.

Now that the API shows supercharger occupancy, would it be possible to aggregate all that data here and create trend graphs for the various superchargers?

It imagine it being a page where you select a state, then select a supercharger in that state and it shows you current and past occupancy .

How is Total Cost calculated?

toddklindt 6 years ago updated by Deitrix 1 year ago 7

I'm looking at my monthly report and I'm not understanding how the Total Cost is calculated. How does it come to $61.66?

Image 721

Since my supercharging is free shouldn't the Total Cost be $52.54?

Total cost is simply the kWh used while driving multiplied by your home charging rate.  It doesn't factor in kWh inputed from each source.  It's something that may be added in the future but would be very complicated to get right since energy used during idling and sleeping would also have to be factored in.

Monthly summary

A monthly summary report displaying drive distance, number of drives, energy consumption, charging++

A chart showing distance per months for last 12 months (or selected period) would be much appreciated.

Add API integration for power monitoring devices like Neurio and Sense

sp3ctre 6 years ago 0

Home energy monitoring services like Neurio have an API to poll usage data for circuits in the home. When combined with sub-metering, it's possible to pull the kWh consumed by the charging circuit, allowing for even better efficiency calculations. Can you investigate adding support for services like this?

Neurio API: https://api.neur.io/docs/

Sense IFTTT: https://ifttt.com/sense_energy_monitor

Offline & Logging disabled

andrewlathom 6 years ago 0

Could time periods when Offline and when logging is disabled be reflected separately in the daily summary? Perhaps with a minimum time period like the one for sending an email? And maybe with an option to merge them with an adjacent Idle or Drive event? Being able to merge consecutive Idle periods (usually split by a very short drive event) would be great as well. Thank you.

Enable/Disable Logging

andrewlathom 6 years ago updated by LyndonJE 4 years ago 2

Whenever I've manually disabled logging and then re-enabled it, there is a 15 min delay before my car's data feed resumes. Is there any way that can be reduced, or ideally, eliminated? When I disable it, polling stops right away. Couldn't enabling it trigger an immediate data request? Or am I missing something in Settings where this can be adjusted?

Also, could the logging status be displayed more prominently? I see the message all the way at the bottom after scrolling, but could that status be shown in the header? Perhaps with a "last polled time" if disabled and a "polling active since" time if enabled? And along with this, it would be awesome if the enable/disable functionality could be moved from the settings page to the header as well.

Thanks!
