track autopilot version updates.

matsmats 5 years ago 0

It would be good to see how many cars are getting what version of autopilot over time, especially in the case of upgrades.  Really this about tracking cars going from 2.5 to 3.

Offline vs. Sleeping

Shawn Shawn 5 years ago updated by thisislee 5 years ago 1

I park my Model 3 underground where there is no cell connection.

During my trial period for TeslaFi, it would show the car as sleeping when it was parked underground with no connection. Recently paid for a subscription and now it shows my car as being offline.

Just wondering why it changed how it's being reported on TeslaFi?

How is the battery degradation report calculated? How do you determine degradation based on a charge to 80% for example?

thomasbihn 5 years ago updated by Thomas Bihn 5 years ago 2

Is it simply a matter of the car unable to reach the target value to a certain precision? What is the confidence that TeslaFi can reasonably determine if the degradation estimation is in the ballpark of actual degradation level?  I'm not doubting the numbers, just curious how they are determined.

Can TeslaFi pull once a day?

mickster 5 years ago 0

I am an new Tesla Model 3 owner and a new TeslaFi user. So my questions are really more from not knowing or understanding a whole lot at this time. Range Anxiety is apparent and certainly haven't owned long enough to get eased or not caring as I pretty much can always recharge every night. However, as I think about not being able to do that, I get these questions around whether or not I can have TeslaFi pull on demand or like once/limited times per day. And I ask this not knowing the impact(or how to see the impact) of what TeslaFi does to my battery levels by doing what it does. I love stats and there is a price to pay for this - just trying to get what that may be and more so how and if I can control it for those times when I need to conserve. Does this make sense? Would a pull of data be all inclusive from the time it last pulled. Near real time data is cool but not always needed/wanted.  Thanks in advance.

Can new users register before getting a car?

BattMobile 5 years ago updated by cabomix 5 years ago 1

I've given my referral code to someone, but they then asked if they could register now, before getting their car, and if the trial would then start once they have their car (and, presumably, their My Tesla account has been activated for their VIN

scheduling charging

When I put my car on the charger, my car starts charging immediately, while I have set it to start later. How do I set the timetable so that it only starts charging at the specified time?

Tesla being transported, where is the "get current status" view?

s7ephen 5 years ago 0

A lot of the TeslaFi User Interface naturally is focused around driving and charging, but in my case my Tesla is being transported cross country and I was hoping to use TeslaFi to track its progress or to see if the truckers were taking any joy rides. One of my other cars  (on the same truck) has an app-based GPS tracker hidden in it, and I am seeing updates from it, but not in TeslaFi.

I also never noticed until now that the TeslaFi UI doesnt seem to have a timestamped "Show Current Data"-view with location information and vehicle status info... Is this correct or am I missing something?

Show rated, ideal and typical range in both miles and kilometers in columns of the battery report

exyll 5 years ago 0

I'm not sure what type of range currently is shown in the battery report but I see that the API has

- battery_range

- ideal_battery_range

- est_battery_range

Maybe all 3 values should be shown in the report and as this report of often shared both include the range in miles and kilometers.
