Fleet battery data filters

Firstflyer 5 years ago 0

I found the fleet battery data page and started to look at this in more detail. It was great to look at other cars with the same mileage, temp while charging etc. Then I saw the small "settings" in the header and decided to see what was there. Seeing the data broken down by day with similar type cars was great because I was getting the feeling my battery was losing range faster than it should. There seems to be a group of cars built during a short period of time i(August-September 2018) that are affected with this loss so I thought this data would be great to follow. But then-- I saw the grey boxes with the search criteria shown and under "Model Selection" was-- 3 long range.  Great, but-- I then realized that seemed to indicate all 75kw cars were grouped together. We all know each model has its own mileage rating so my question is can the filters be available or just have each model- RWD, AWD, Performance able to be selected. I for one would like to see if there is any significant difference between them. In addition if you felt that your car had an issue and was trying to make a case with Tesla it would eliminate one more of the SC standard excuses that it is normal for your car. It seems that is what you get unless you have hard data to start with and from a very specific data set. So-- bottom line it would be great if there was a separate data set available for each "type" and not all grouped together as one.

Hi, It would be nice to have my car unlock at home, I park my car in the garage and it would be nice to add a schedule without specifying an hours, only specifying a location. so when the car arrive at home it unlock it.

Heating icon instead of cooling icon

StefanSarzio 5 years ago 0

Idle 14082 displays heating icon instead of cooling.

This probably happens during a long idle when first the car heats up from the sun and is then cooled down.

When deciding which icon to use only view those data points when the HVAC was running and in case of conflicting entries choosing what the majority suggests would probably be a good way?

One whole drive wasn't recorded

yennexc 5 years ago 0

Hi,

after the car (model 3) was idling for about one hour at home (sleeping before that) I had a drive of 1.5 hours (120km) to a supercharger and there's no record of it. How could this happen? I mean every trip before was recorded very good but this isn't there. the logging continues with supercharging, directly after idling, without the trip.

And: is there any way to get this trip now afterwards in the list?

Add HVAC Temp to controls

Shouldn't the HVAC temperature be on the controls pane?  In fact I thought it used to be there.

Fitting

With respect to the trend lines shown on the battery graphs: A straight line connecting two points ignores all the rest of the data. I would much prefer to see the traditional least squares fit to all the data points. I hope you will consider adding that.

And while I am asking for stuff in the raw data listing mileage as, for example, 1,243.7 miles makes it hard to cut and paste data as the target programs tend to assume CSV and interpret 1,243.7 as two entries of 1 and 243.7.

My car didn't charge

Phil in Chicago 5 years ago updated by James 5 years ago 2

Just signed up for TeslaFi yesterday.  My car (Model 3) was set up to charge for a 9a departure this morning.  I plugged it in last night about 7pm.  Ended up not leaving at 9a.  But when I did get in it at noon, it hadn't charged at all.  It was still at the same 48% it was at when I got home last night.  This has never happened before.  The only variable is signing up for TeslaFi and giving it my car's information.  What happened, and how do I fix it?
