Different Wh/Mile Readings Same Drive 3 Apps-UPDATED

jmschmidt1 4 years ago updated 4 years ago 1

My wife just drive from OC to San Diego. First "long" drive for our new MY LR.

I reviewed drive date on three apps: TeslaFi, TezLabs and Nikola.  The total distance and average speed on each matched but Wh/Mi was different with TeslaFi.  TezLabs and Nikola are about the same (310/311 Wh/mi) but TeslaFi is reporting a much better 274 Wh/mi.  Why is that? I am confused. Any thoughts/help are appreciated.

Charger Topping off

tsimon122 4 years ago updated 4 years ago 2

When I leave my Model 3(2020.20.12) plugged in it seems to be constantly topping off the battery even when it is not below 80% (Set Limit).  Attached is what I see in TelsaFi.  Is it really charging or is this something else?  See the reports below.

Hardware version

raleedy 4 years ago updated by James 4 years ago 1

My car, a Long Range AWD Model 3, was upgraded to HW 3 earlier this year, but shows in your database as HW 2.5. How is HW version determined for your records? And what else is incorrectly recorded?

Show supercharging rates (KW+SOC) per model, year, and battery size.

jimhays@email com 5 years ago 0

With so much reporting lately on changes in Supercharging rates, especially for older models, it would be helpful to calculate and display fleet Supercharging rates.  Most folks understand that Supercharging rates are highest at a low state of charge (SOC), and the rate decreases as the battery achieves a higher SOC.  So KW + SOC is one common measure of charging rates.
While temperature also is a factor, I suspect that because of all the variables and ways to measure (battery temp, outside temp, etc.) that it's probably not worth the effort.
Displaying supercharging rate data out of the fleet would provide at least two benefits to users:
- Quickly able to see if my car's supercharging rates are typical, or indicate a problem
- Able to spot when software updates change the rates for entire models, or years, etc.
If KW + SOC is too heavy a lift, then even KWh added over time averages (by model, year, battery) would be really helpful.

Odd sleep pattern after MCU 2 upgrade

thepennster 5 years ago updated 4 years ago 2

My 2017 Model X was sleeping as expected for the last couple of years. I got the MCU 2 upgrade 3 days ago, and since, my Model X has been sleeping for 15 minutes, waking up for about 45 mins, then back to sleep for 15 minutes, and so on. I am currently on 2020.20.12. It’s been like this for 3 days. I haven’t changed any of my sleep settings on TeslaFi. I don’t have any other third party apps running either. Prior to this, the car would sleep for days if I didn’t drive. Any ideas?
