Low battery notification when range or % of charge is below threshold

mpk 4 years ago updated by mbesonicpp 6 months ago 1

Hi

Can you please add a low battery notification when range or percentage of charge is below a certain threshold?

The threshold should be configurable and allow input in the form of range or percentage.

Thanks,

MPK

Send Stop Charging command only when Tesla is actually charging (or don't report an error if it isn't)

perrochon 4 years ago updated 4 years ago 1

I stop charging at 3pm (as the price per kWh goes up then). But sometimes the car isn't charging anymore and TeslaFi let's me know that "Stop Charging command not received by Tesla"

Reason given (if any): Vehicle Is Not Charging

Teslafi could either not send the signal, or not send the error, or give me a rule to only stop charging when it's charging?

Lifetime Average Speed

Logger 4 years ago updated 4 years ago 2

On the Lifetime Drive map, the top panel gives Distance driven and Time spent driving. Could you add Avg Speed. (Dist driven/time spent driving.) Would be useful when comparing the efficiency of two similar cars to see if driving habits or Avg temperature are the cause of a difference.

Max Charging speed over time

hj_bdsr 4 years ago updated by Enno 3 years ago 2

Would be nice to see how the max charging speed, especially on DC Supercharger would possibly change.

Can help to analyse to find out some problems or if with an update the limits are changed (known Model S issue)

Macro Suggestion

TeslafiBrian 4 years ago updated by James 4 years ago 0
How about adding a function that would allow a user to execute a series of commands with one instruction?

I usually do the following at a non-recurring time (in example I am looking to leave at 10:30am)

1. Wake up Vehicle @ 10:01am
2. Set charge to 70% from 75% @ 10:02am [to prevent car from trying to charge]
3. Activate climate preset (HVAC to 62deg) @ 10:03am [to set cabin temp in anticipation of starting battery conditioning]
4. Start HVAC @ 10:04am [to begin the cabin/battery warm up]
5. Activate climate present (HVAC to 68deg, turn on driver seat heater to 1) @ 10:25am [5 minutes before departure]
6. Set charge to 75% @ 10:45am [to reset charge level to 75% for battery charge upon return home]

Having these 6 steps in one command would make it easier to get the car ready. I don't normally leave home at the same time, so I need to individually set each one of these commands.

I don't know if this has already been suggested or if there is a way to do this currently.

thanks for the app, I love it and have suggested it to my fellow Tesla owners.

Missing Charge/Preconditioning Session when preconditioning is using more power than charger delivers?

Wunderlag 4 years ago 0

Image 2510

Here i am missing a Charge that happend on 25.01.2021 15:45-16:01.

In this time i had preconditioning on and the charger was connected. It even showed as charging in Teslafi and the Raw data is correct too. But I assume since the charge wasn't adding anything (only 4kW charger) it isn't showing it at all?

Also i assume this isn't showing up in the summaries and therefore is not calculated in charging cost?

This possible? Particularly on “last known good” endpoint

Alerts: possible firmware match vehicle config

As title. Great to have pushover or email alert for new software detected that matches vehicle config, such as location, spec, recent mileage

Feature Request - Road Trip Summary - kWh Used

LuckyP62 4 years ago updated 4 years ago 0

Would be nice to see kWh Used in Road Trip Summary on Right for all charge types (kWh Used is in each charge session, but not at the summary level). Having kWh Used at the summary level helps with reporting actual electricity usage for a given period of time (I net the home AC charging Used against my monthly hydro bill to calculate home vs car costs. Also useful to understand charging efficiency for the Road trip reporting period

MCU designation

rush6410 4 years ago 0

Can the MCU designation be added to the data that is provided for software updates. Many of us AP3.0 MCU1 lag with updates and it would be nice to see which MCU is on a vehicle when new updates are detected.
