Charge Limit by Destination

devaughn 2 years ago 0

I don’t travel far and leave my SoC set to 50% when home charging. If I come across free public charging, it would be nice to be able to raise or lower the charge limit based on location, similar to always enable sentry by location toggle when you look at an individual location.

Smart venting/cooling

Mgoetzke 2 years ago 0

Stats app has a Smart Venting feature. When too hot inside vs outside and the car is parked it opens the windows for a short while . Alternatively turn on air circulation for a short while not even AC when outside and inside are different. That would be a nice feature.

Vehicle API call always instead of trying to sleep

Brian83 2 years ago 0

I'm curious about something and couldn't really find this topic anywhere by looking around.

If the Vehicle API can pull the state of the vehicle and whether it's sleeping or awake without actually waking it up, why isn't that used all the time? I don't understand why we need all the settings on Teslafi for sleeping and and wait 30 minutes before trying to sleep and then the 15 minutes of trying to sleep where it doesn't send the Data API command. I get that sending the Data API command wakes up the car if it's asleep and that's why they stop sending it. What I don't get is why doesn't the site always send the Vehicle API command first, every minute or whatever you have set. If the vehicle is sleeping then the Teslafi doesn't do anything else. If it's not sleeping, then it send the date command after and gets the actual data. Would this not work? Teslafi seems to miss some data during that 15 minute attempting to sleep time period where something may happen.

I have the Tessie app on my iPhone and it has an Auto Wake setting that I keep off which means that it never wakes my vehicle when I open the app. It somehow always seems to have all the data and doesn't miss anything, but also never wakes my vehicle from a sleep on it's own. There must be a way?

Suggestion add multiple home charging rates based on month

carlos31820 2 years ago 0

My utility company has different rates based on the month of the year.  For example, from October to May, my rate is .10 /kWh.  Then, months of June to September have a rate of .15/kWh.  It appears that I can only set a single rate in the UI.

comparison of battery status: based on Energy used instead of KM on odometer

Apulus 2 years ago 0

I see that you create an homogeneous group of cars based on the odometer.  Could you use the quantity of energy used instead.

Basically living in Germany I can enjoy the power and the torque of my car more of those that are bound to speed limits. Of course this will imply higher consumptions and more frequent recharges.

Probably considering the regeneration as well will be more complicated but probably the enrgy used coudl be already a good approximation fro a different groups of cars.

Schedule not working

SongProMan 2 years ago 0

My schedule (set in TeslaFi) for home is Start charging at 8:30pm and Stop charging at 12:30am.

It was connected yesterday at about 7pm and started charging immediately, I stopped it several times but kept restarting.
I had to unplug it until 8:30pm (the start of my off-peak period).
It use to work properly, any ideas?

Duplicate Locations

jdharrin 2 years ago 0

Okay, somehow I've messed up my location database big-time.  I have three stops visiting three buildings side-by-side and when I opened the first location to edit it, it overlapped the other two.  As I tried to narrow their circles, and update them, I managed to create five or six duplicate locations for each stop.  How do I get rid of all these extra locations and straighten all this out...

Schedule Time Zone Wrong

titanmiller 2 years ago updated 2 years ago 2

I have a schedule set to stop charging at 3:59PM (expensive electricity tier starts at 4:00PM). The schedule executes at 1:59 which is central time zone, but I live in the pacific time zone. I looked through the settings but could not find anything relating to time zones.

It's based on your main home location set in settings->home charging.
