I'm not certain what "rated" vs "actual" miles are? The only thing that comes to mind is something like the miles the car thought you should be able to go on the charge vs how many you actually could?
rated miles is the miles displayed by the car using a preset epa rated consumption rate.
your actual miles is the actual amount driven based on the odometer. If your actual miles is less than the rated miles then you drove less efficient then what the epa rated the vehicle at.
if your actual miles is more than rated miles then you drove more efficient then what it is epa rated at.
